These quartz skillets are designed for use with curves. They have a small handle that works great for hand holding the skillet, and there is a small clear bump so it can be wrapped to a curve. They are extremely resistant to heat, and should never crack due to repeated torching. There is very little extra material on the skillet plate, and they heat up very quickly. The skillet measures .75" in diameter and .25" deep, and it is attached to a 1.5" handle, making it 2.25" long total.
